What is a Virtual Assistant?

A Virtual Assistant (VA) is a highly-skilled, independent professional who provides administrative, technical and/or creative business support services. We are your off-site administrative professional. If you need an administrative assistant but don’t have the space to hire one in-house, don’t want to pay fringe benefits for a full time employee, don’t have the office software/equipment needed to run your business or for whatever your reason… a virtual assistant is your answer!

How do I hire you?

If you are interested in working together, whether on a one-time project or an ongoing basis, let’s schedule a free 30-minute phone consultation. This will give me an opportunity to learn about your needs and for each of us to learn if we can work well together. If the answer is “yes”, that’s wonderful!

When can you start?

For retainer agreements, work will begin once we have received your payment for the first month’s hours.  On one-time projects, work will begin once you have submitted a deposit of $350, or 1/2 of the estimated cost for projects under $700.

What if I don’t use all my hours? Do you offer refunds?

Normally, if you have unused hours from your monthly retainer, up to 10% of them may be rolled forward to the next month, with approval.  However, if your hours used are consistently lower than your retainer hours, we will be happy to reevaluate your retainer agreement and adjust accordingly.

What is your usual turnaround time?

The normal turnaround time for clients on a retainer is 2-3 business days, depending on the task.  For one-time projects, the turnaround time is determined on a project by project basis.  Retainer client requests will almost always be prioritized ahead of one-time tasks.

Can you help me with an emergency project?  (I need it by tomorrow!)

Probably, but it really depends on what we’ve got scheduled for today. Send an email to our emergency email with all the details about your rush project.  We’ll get in touch with you within an hour to let you know if we can help!
